Low-Budget Airlines Expanding at Schiphol
Low-budget airlines are taking more and more flights at Schiphol. There will be 48 a day this summer, 13 flights more than last winter. The increase in the number of passengers at Schiphol to 40.6 million in 2002 is entirely attributable to these price busters. The following budget airlines use Schiphol - EasyJet, BasiqAir, BMIBaby, MyTravelite, Jeta and Virgin Express.

Dutchbird - Low Budget with Service
Dutchbird is a new low-budget company at Schiphol. Unlike its competitors, this Dutch airline will offer full in-flight service. In this way, they hope to attract business travellers to fly to Spain, Portugal, Greece and Turkey. The new (Buzz) services will begin on May 1, and Ryanair said former Buzz passengers would be offered flights during May on these services at half the new Ryanair fares.
