Please help! Need advice, public security bureau!

Hello everybody,

I was born in China, but grew up in the US. I need some advice on the 出生证明 双**. Unfortunately I don't read or write Chinese, but if you respond in Chinese my parents can read it for me.

We contacted a company in Beijing to get my double certified, notarized, and translated copy of my birth certificate, but the Amsterdam Gemeente says that it's not enough, and that they additionally need something from the "public security bureau". I'm not sure what that is, and the company I got my birth certificate through cannot help. Can anybody help clarify what I need from the "public security bureau"?

Since my parents and I are no longer citizens, we don't need to submit Hukou.

I'm not sure what information they need, the Amsterdam Gemeente just said they needed, from the public security bureau, "what your birth certificate is based on".

My hope is that somebody here has experience with this and knows what I need to get--even just the Chinese name of it would be very helpful.

I think you birth certificate is not enough, what they need called “public security bureau”should be the “Residence Booklet”. The Chinese name is “户口本”. If you born in China you must have this. You are also required to translate copy of 户口本 and get it certified.
