United MICE travel BV is a tour operator located in Amsterdam. The company was founded at the end of 2015 by 2 young entrepreneurs with many years of experience in the Far East travel business. The primary market that the company focus on is the mainland China market. Together with the development of the booming Chinese mainland travel business, United MICE travel also grown very fast.
Our core business is the incoming business purpose related travel activity, such as Incentives, Meetings, Congress and Exhibitions, Holland and Europe is one of the top three destinations after Far East and America. Our operation range is not limited into Holland only, we cover a much wider destinations such as Germany, France, Switzerland and even Italy, so the daily operation is pretty challenging and interesting including making itineraries and proposals, contacting suppliers, making package tour quotation, etc.
As the development of our business, we are looking for young and enthusiastic Chinese talents with European education background to join our team.
Full-time opportunities:
As we are expanding both MICE and leisure segments, we are looking for English and Chinese speaking talents who had tourism, leisure, hotel or hospitality management background.
Position A: Senior project manager MICE
Starting time: ASAP
Activities:
- Active communicating and marketing activities with client in China.
- Handling incoming projects from China in EU, working with other project leaders for large events and group
- Contact suppliers to make package tours.
- Be part of a small project team on certain incoming projects and groups
- Travelling to the event location for coordination
- Maintain client relationship
Profile:
- At least 5 years working experiences in the tour operating business
- Fluent English, a second language German or French is a plus
- Able to work under specific target and goals
- Be result orientated
- Be a team player, can work with other colleagues in different locations and cultures
- Can work under certain pressure and deadline
- Problem solving skills
- Can grow with the company and improve him/herself
Position B: Senior Project leader OTA
Activities:
- Approaching only OTAs in China for sales and marketing activities
- Tailor making programs and luxury package
- Contact suppliers to make package tours price
- Lead a small project team on certain incoming projects and groups
- Maintain client relationship
Profile:
- At least 5 years working experiences in the tour operating business
- Be open minded and understand the new generation of Chinese travellers
- Fluent English, a second language German or French is a plus
- Able to work under specific target and goals
- Be result orientated
- Be a team player, can work with other colleagues in different locations and cultures
- Can work under certain pressure and deadline
- Problem solving skills
- Can grow with the company and improve him/herself
Position C: Sales manager
Activities:
- Actively involve only sales and marketing activities
- Promoting Amsterdam, Madrid and London office
- Approaching traditional and OTAs in China for sales and marketing activities
- Directly reporting to the general manager
- Maintain and develop client relationship
- Sales trip
Profile:
- At least 5 years working experiences in the tour operating business
- Be open minded and understand the new generation of Chinese travellers

Salary: in all positions we offer a very attractive salary with end of the year bonus system, individual requirement can be discussed during the interview.
