Job Description
Summary: As account manager B2B2C, you’ll partner with our customers and ensure their long-term success. You will manage a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new opportunities. You will be working full-time (40 hours per week).

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your customers (commercial, operation, customer service coordination, customer onboarding).
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
  • Negotiate contracts and operational agreements.
  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts.
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives.
  • Communicate clearly the progress of initiatives to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to exceed sales quotas.
  • Forecast and track key account metrics.
  • Prepare reports on account status.
  • Assist with high severity requests or issue escalations as needed.
  • Perform other duties related to account management.
  • Educate customers on operational standards and be kind but firm enforcer of standard way of working to ensure operational quality.


Mindset
  • Hands-on mentality. Does not just ask what rest of organization can do for him/her but contributes proactively. Self-starter.
  • Can cope well with pressure from customers and with tight deadlines.
  • Ideal candidate is very flexible. Our customers partially operate in 2 time zones (The Netherlands and China) and communication with customers’ organizations starts early and ends late.


Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, administrative, numerical and analytical skills.
  • Fluent in Chinese and English (Dutch would be an advantage).
  • Excellent Powerpoint skills is an advantage.


Experience/Education:
  • 5+ years experience in (operational) account management and/or project management and/or B2B(2C) business.
  • Logistics experience is an advantage.
  • Commercial study (Dutch HBO or university level) is an advantage.
