现在的永居只有5年了？没了工作就不能续？

A residence document for permanent stay is always issued for 5 years. When it expires, you can apply for a renewal. This applies to the following residence documents:

• Permanent regular residence permit (type II)
• Long-term resident EC (type V)
• Permanent asylum residence permit (type IV)
• Permanent residence citizens of the European Union (type EU/EEA)
  

It is not obligatory to renew a permanent residence permit. Even if you do not renew it, your residence status will be unchanged as long as you continue to  meet all the conditions.
However, it is recommended to renew the document for practical reasons. An institution or an employer can ask for this. Your valid residence document is also an official identity document. This means that you do not always have to carry your passport with you.

照官网的说法永居要合法需要meet all the conditions, 那不就是说万一失业就不能续了？那永居还叫啥永居

永居资格默认是一直保留的。

五年，只是卡的有效期而已。五年到期后，即使你不去续卡，也还是永居的状态。

所以严格来说，永居不需要续。除非你离开荷兰／欧洲一定期限并被发现，你的永居资格才会被取消。否则，不需要担心是否满足条件。

续永居不用给工作合同，就照片和不要在欧盟以外国家呆8个月以上，还有不要犯罪就可以了，我刚续完很容易
可以在网上续，直接去取卡就好，费用50欧！我卡已经拿到！

从没有听说过续永居要求工资合同单的，不懂这些，我可以帮楼主顶贴！
提到这个永居本来我也想申请的，但是我一想到担心以后续永居要求什么什么的让我不敢去申请永居的，永居对于我们来说很方便的，回国不用签证多好啊，但是一想到荷兰的政策比欧元的汇率变得还快，还是申请入籍保险一点，谁知道他们哪年又改要求什么的，不给我换卡那就麻烦了，终才摆脱了万恶的IND，从此以后再也不想跟哪个ind无休止的噩梦再打交道了。

刚问了朋友说，只有表格，pasfoto, 旧id还有pasport就可以了

多谢楼上回复，之前也是一直以为不需要工资单就可以续，这样才叫永居么。但是看了官网的文字就很疑惑，希望哪位大侠能有个权威的解说。毕竟不是光多交份材料的事，以家庭为单位的话，有可能一个人失业就会导致收入不满足永居条件，这样不是整个家庭都要离境，挺疑惑的。
